Marketing Operations Specialist

iovation is in the business of making the internet a safer place. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established global leader in the fraud prevention and consumer authentication industries, based in Portland, Oregon. We help protect retailers, banks, insurers, gaming operators, dating sites, social networks and other businesses from credit card fraud, identity theft, account takeover and many other abuses. Our global clients leverage our device-based intelligence network that contains 4 billion devices that have touched our clients’ sites, plus 40 million fraud and abuse reports connected to some of those devices.

Position Summary

iovation is adding this new position to our dynamic corporate marketing team that will be responsible for driving marketing effectiveness, pipeline growth, and sales revenue while monitoring and reporting on marketing KPIs. The role involves managing and monitoring existing tools (such as Salesforce, Pardot and others) and evaluating new tools that market leaders or peers are using and finding effective.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform an audit of existing marketing operations software; manage nurturing tracks, automation rules, and the grading/scoring of leads
  • Manage list building while ensuring clean imports and exports with all required fields in proper formats
  • Monitor and optimize segmentation rules in building lists for campaigns
  • Outline profiles for identifying target personas for specific campaigns
  • Manage opt-out process and communications
  • Review campaign results with campaign marketing managers; report results in weekly campaign meetings
  • Review the volume and data accuracy/integrity of leads in the sales funnel; report results to sales and marketing management / update weekly dashboards reviewed by leadership
  • Create monthly and quarterly reporting presentations
  • Assist with the deployment of Engagement Studio; monitor and update data on an ongoing basis
  • Program email communications to prospects and customers
  • Participate in the transition to Forms Handlers (progressive profiling)
  • Review responses to determine volume of spam, unusual traffic, trends and support
  • Review data metrics on a monthly/quarterly basis based on country, state, industry, stage/score, customer demographics and lead type (customer vs. prospect)


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business or the equivalent in training and experience
  • 2+ years of experience working within a marketing or sales team demonstrating the ability working in a collaborative manner
  • Experience using marketing automation tools
  • Ability to track metrics and review data for basic trends
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present results to internal constituents

Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills

Use of and Pardot
Experience working in the high tech sector

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, hearing and talking; intermittent standing and walking; intermittent bending and twisting of the upper body (in the event of traveling/working from remote locations). Close detail work requiring visual acuity.
